Innovation capability, on the record

Innovation performance,
Amplified.

Innovation activities are hard to lead because they are hard to measure. Amplify Advisor shows where your innovation capability stands, helps you build it, and proves it to top management. But the goal isn't a report. It's innovation performance that improves, year after year.

Solid foundation

Assessments, audits, and guidance are based on ISO 56001, the international standard for innovation management systems, decades of research- and experience-based knowledge, and accumulated data from your organization. Amplify Advisor helps build innovation capabilities, boost performance, and prepare for organizational certification.

The shift

From heroic innovation efforts to a managed capability.

In many organizations, innovation activities are still unstructured and rely on the heroic effort of a few committed people. ISO 56001 finally provides the field a shared language and framework for what a capable organization should have in place. The starting point for making the shift is a picture of where you stand and a route from here to there. That's what Amplify Advisor provides.

Heroic innovation efforts
Progress depends on a handful of committed individuals
No shared definition of what good actually looks like
Lack of understanding of current innovation capabilities
Every year starts over, with nothing carried across cycles
Audits and board reviews scramble for evidence at the last minute
Managed innovation capability
The whole organization works from the same framework
AI-assisted assessment grounded in decades of experience
Concrete, context-aware actions for each gap, not generic advice
Each cycle builds on the last instead of replacing it
Evidence with citations and provenance, ready when an auditor asks

Measured maturity. Amplified capability.

The platform compresses months of diagnosis and improvement efforts into a focused, guided team effort, without sacrificing the rigor that an auditor or senior leadership will demand. Every step is AI-assisted and human-confirmed.

Months → weeks

from diagnosis to action plan

A credible maturity diagnosis used to take months. AI-assisted assessment and audit compress it to a focused team effort, and the people doing it reach a defensible rating in hours.

Drafted → confirmed

AI proposes, people decide

AI drafts ratings with cited evidence, pulls claims from your uploaded files, and tailors the recommended actions to your organization. Nothing lands in the record until a named person signs off.

Snapshot → trajectory

the same criteria, every year

Every assessment and audit run against the same capability criteria. The year-over-year movement, not any single rating, is what tells top management whether the work is paying off.

Heroics → system

managed innovation capability

ISO 56001 turns innovation efforts from unstructured side-projects into something the whole organization runs deliberately. The platform makes that shift operational.

How it works

Four modules, one continuous loop.

Assess where you stand, work out how to close each gap, and do the work. Audit to verify it holds up, report on the journey, then measure again. The loop runs every cycle, and the open work carries forward each time.

  1. 01 Assess Diagnose where each capability stands
  2. 02 Advise Find the method to close each gap
  3. 03 Act Build and improve the capability
  4. 04 Audit Verify the system holds up, with evidence
  5. 05 Report Show the state and the journey
  6. 06 Re-assess Measure the next round

Amplify AB

Built by Amplify AB

Two decades of innovation management practice, turned into a platform.

Amplify AB has spent twenty-plus years building innovation capability inside organizations globally. The 28-capability model, the practitioner toolbox, training program content, and the case library now sit at the heart of the Amplify Advisor engine. Recommendations that reach the innovation and leadership teams are grounded in real experience, not a generic model.

Built for everyone who runs the loop

Executive sponsors & senior leadership

You fund the innovation effort and answer for it to the board. You need more than a list of initiatives: a managed capability you can steer, fund, and defend. Amplify Advisor gives you a leadership-level read on where the organization stands against ISO 56001, what needs investment, and whether last year's spend is paying off.

Heads of innovation & R&D leaders

You run the program day to day and own the result. Amplify Advisor gives you a defensible read on every capability and the action plan to close each gap, so progress is something you can show, not assert. Anonymized peer benchmarking accrues from your first cycle, so the comparison sharpens as the dataset grows.

Innovation managers & teams

You do the work the rating is built on, often as a load on top of a day job. Amplify Advisor gives you practical guidance and tools in a shared language, so you can turn insights and ideas into innovations, see how your work fits the wider management system, and move faster without a consultant on call.

Consultancies & agencies

Deliver under your own brand, with the methodology, white-labeling, and an isolated workspace per client built in. The platform takes the repetitive work off your plate, so each deliverable takes fewer hours and your effective rate rises across many clients. Plus revenue share when you bring clients onto Amplify Advisor.

Internal & external auditors

Start your audit with evidence organized per ISO 56001 clause and every finding linked to its source, instead of weeks finding and analyzing scattered documents. The auditor role is read-only on the work it reviews, so the required independence holds by construction, not by promise.

Frequently asked

What is Amplify Advisor?

Amplify Advisor is an online platform that helps you measure, prove, and build your organization's innovation capability. It is based on the framework and language of ISO 56001 and draws from decades of research- and experience-based knowledge.

Assessments and audits show where the gaps are and turn the diagnosis into improvement work you track year over year. It provides the structure and evidence needed for boards, auditors, and funders to get proof rather than assertions.

Four modules carry the work: Assessments (identify where each capability stands today), Audits (demonstrate conformity against ISO 56001's requirements), Advisors (provide AI guidance grounded in an extensive knowledge base), and Actions (build and improve innovation capabilities).

Who is it for?

Organizations that treat innovation efforts as a capability to manage, not side-projects: heads of innovation, R&D leaders, innovators and teams, and senior and top management who need a defensible baseline and guidance on how to improve every year. Increasingly, that baseline is also what an RFP, a funding application, or a certification push expects of them.

I'm a consultant or an auditor. What's in it for me?

Consultancies and agencies deliver under their own brand. The platform absorbs the mechanical work, evidence extraction, first-draft ratings, and report narratives, so your hours go to the judgment clients pay for: framing, facilitation, and coaching. One consultant can credibly run programs for many client organizations, each in its own isolated workspace with co-branded reports.

Auditors start their audit with evidence organized per ISO 56001 requirements and findings linked directly to their sources, instead of scrambling through scattered documents. The auditor role is read-only on the work it reviews, so independence is held by construction.

How does this relate to ISO 56001?

ISO 56001 is the international standard for innovation management systems, and it's the backbone on which Amplify Advisor is built. But the standard tells you what a sound management system covers, not what good looks like at each level or how to get there.

That's the gap Amplify Advisor fills. Conformity is worth having, and the platform makes proving it far less painful, but the point is the innovation capability you build along the way. Measure where you stand, see how you compare to peers, then close the gap, with the standard as the framework rather than the goal.
